You have to be quite daring to upgrade something with a zipper because if you get it wrong it will turn out terrible, however if you get it right it will turn out quite spectacularly.

In my (humble) opinion, the zipper look is one I think can easily look "tacky" - but I'd take any item from the photos you posted above! Love to see what you end up making... =)

It's so true...done right and they look funky but also polished. I lve zippers that go from the top to bottom on dresses. Those boots are great!
